All the Answers You Seek, In One Place

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

How long does each therapy session take?

What modalities do you use?

How long do I need to be seen?

While everyone's response to therapy is different, my hope and desire is to work with you for the next six months to a year and beyond. I find that clients who are dedicated to their mental health, will see positive changes during this time frame. While others wish to stay connected thereafter, no two timelines are the same. I do have clients that I see longer, as I fully support the ongoing growth of all my clients needs.

Each session is booked for the therapeutic 50-55 minute session. Sometimes sessions end a bit shorter depending on the nature of the conversations b - however they will generally all be within the 50-55 time limit so that I can stay on schedule.

What happens if I need to see you more? Or if I want to slow sessions down?

Each session is booked for the therapeutic 50-55 minute session. Sometimes sessions end a bit shorter depending on the nature of the conversations.

I am a humanistic therapist and use a variety of modalities in my practice. Modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindful Cognitive Behavior Therapy (MCBT), and Dialect Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also support clients who use alternative forms of medication as well as a holistic approach.

You don't take my insurance; how can I get reimbursed?

I can provide you with a 'super bill' for you that shows, date of services, for you to seek reimbursement with your insurance company. This can be issued in monthly increments at a minimum.

What if I need a break from therapy?

What are your no-show policies?

What if I'm sick or have a emergency before session?

As a working mom of three, I understand emergencies and sickness! Please notify me at your earliest convivence so that we can look to rebook you. While I do not charge more for emergent sessions, I am willing to work with my clients who are experiencing an emergency. Each situation will be a case-by-case basis and those details will be discussed then.

Everyone's needs are going to be different. If we both agree that you are stable enough for a break that is acceptable. However, to be current with the APA guidelines and ethics, I need to see you at least once a year, in order for your intake to remain current. If that timeframe lapses, a new intake will need to be conducted at the current rates. As a licensed professional, essentially, I am responsible for your overall mental health. Therefore, I ask that we stay current your customized treatment plan.

My schedule books out weeks, sometimes months in advance. I offer a onetime no-show fee waive. I ask that you cancel your sessions at a minimum of 24 hours. In the event of a cancelation, I will try to fill the opening with another client. This 24-hour period allows time to do so. If this is not met, then the fee of $100.00 is added to your account.

Can we connect on social media?

What if I am in crisis - Can you help me?

If you find yourself in a crisis, please be sure to contact 988 or 911 first or go to your closest emergency room. However, I do like to support my clients when in crisis and can be available for support if needed.

What if after Intake, we don't connect well?

If after the free consultation and intake, and we don't connect I am happy to refer you to another local provider accepting clients. I believe in this process we need to connect and mesh well, otherwise the healing journey and level of trust cannot be successful.

Unfortunately, this breaks my code of ethics and boundaries. While we may run into one another in the community, I do not connect with my clients on social medial platforms.

There is nothing wrong with investing in yourself. I proudly use a sliding scale. Each plan is customized for each individual. Let's discuss today.
